Abstract

This multi-modal translation project transforms a literature review on antinatalist philosophy into a video format specifically designed to engage millennial audiences familiar with digital media patterns. Recognizing that traditional academic writing may not effectively reach younger demographics who increasingly consume information through platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, this project strategically adapts complex philosophical concepts about procreation ethics into an accessible, visually engaging video presentation.

Rather than creating a conventional slide presentation deemed “too professional” for the intended audience, the video will maintain scholarly rigor while enhancing audience engagement. The video format allows for the integration of visual aids, pacing controls, and multimedia elements that can clarify complex philosophical arguments about antinatalism in ways that traditional text-based formats cannot achieve.
